Ingenuity at work: human primacy in the age of AI

On March 4, we took part in the "Human & Non-Human Resources" event organized by Este in Bologna, contributing to the dialogue of the Italian HR community on innovation and people development. The meeting explored the theme ofingenuity at work and the relationship between human beings and AI.

Whileartificial intelligence is rapidly evolving, the real competitive force remainscollective intelligence: the ability to collaborate, share knowledge, and generate creative solutions that go beyond the sum of individual skills. This distinctive capability is concretely expressed in market competition through theadaptive organization, a dynamic ecosystem that:

This occurs within flexible and transforming production processes centered on customer value.

This competitive scenario assigns the HR function a primary role in fostering inclusion, growth and widespread leadership. It is not just a matter of facilitating the induction of new talent, but of creating development pathways and relationships that stimulate motivation and belonging, generating realistic and understandable answers to questions of meaning:

"Why do I work here? What am I investing my personal energy in today?"

Not only with reference to an ethic that respects human labor, but also because the alternative is the loss of any competitive advantage, in an increasingly short time.

Collective intelligence is built through internal mentoring and coaching processes, where company leaders (in hierarchical line but also functional, specialist, cultural) become reference points for the growth-not only professional-of new generations of talent.

Job hopping is contrasted not so much with the race for benefits, but with real opportunities for continuous learning, reskilling and upskilling. Building a corporate culture that values internal know-how, while stimulating its sharing and continuous evolution, is perhaps the most rewarding strategic investment for any truly forward-looking enterprise.

And in the future (i.e., tomorrow morning), what educational activities have and construct meaning?

The Perspective team, after the event, deepened the insights by identifying some areas of work:

  1. Hybrid coaching programs, combining personal interaction and digital platforms, for a multichannel, always-available, and fully personalized people-support relationship.
  2. Experiential training in VR (Virtual Reality) based on simulation scenarios to develop critical soft skills such as leadership, negotiation and problem-solving in challenging but protected situations.
  3. Targeted cross-training paths that go beyond simple job rotation to create versatile profiles capable of shaping business evolution.

All this renews and consolidates our tailormade approach, our commitment to tailor-made training paths, interpreting from different perspectives the specific needs of each reality we encounter. The future of HR training is already here: today, with choices big and small, is the time to make it smarter and more human.
